This original entomological artwork is a refined, collector-grade depiction of Eucorysses grandis, one of the most striking shield bugs native to Southeast Asia.
This artwork follows the traditions of classical natural history illustration, where accuracy and observation were paramount. Every morphological detail from the segmentation of the antennae to the geometry of the pronotum has been carefully rendered.
This piece is currently exhibited as part of the ENTOMOCOSMOS, mutual project of the Museum and me as an artist.
This artwork will be available for shipping after the end of the exhibition at April 10th.
