Cool story about 9 years old me and Allosaurus:)
When I was 8 or 9 years old, I visited an exhibition of animatronic dinosaurs in Kharkiv. Under the spotlights, in the corner of the half-dark hall, the figure of a grinning giant towered. At first I thought it was a T-Rex, but the sign said Allosaurus. I was delighted! He growled loudly and it seemed he was about to leave his pedestal, dine with a small neighbor in the hall and go for a walk around the spring city. He scared me and fascinated me at the same time. Google had not yet been invented and I asked my parents to buy all the children's books about dinosaurs, to learn something more about him.
It's a pity my photo with the animatronic Al has long been lost somewhere. I would like to look into my children's eyes full of horror and delight again :)
